Who Is This For?
This is perfect for a creative individual who has wedding and elopement photography experience and loves shooting but does not enjoy the client management, timeline details, editing, or business management side of wedding photography.

Requirements
– Willingness to learn and be coached, No Editing Required
– Ability to learn and apply Allegory and Elm shooting style and client management/experience
– Willingness to commit to associate shooting opportunities for 2021 & 2022
– Willing to shoot a minimum of 3-7 weddings per year throughout the 2021 & 2022 wedding seasons
– Willing to shoot weddings and elopements in the Asheville NC Area.
You will be able to gain significant wedding photography experience and business/client experience skills. Our vision for this person is to be able to be fully trusted with our clients wedding day and provide an exceptional experience in line with what our wedding couples deserve and expect. This individual may be expected to shoot engagement sessions and participate in consultations.
This individual must have professional camera equipment and sufficient back-up equipment.
Pay is $100/hr – For Primary Shooters
$50 /hr – For Second Shooters
Required gear list (must own or rent for weddings):
Canon Preferred but other camera brands are acceptable
1 full frame camera body – 1 camera with a dual card slot (preferably 2 camera bodies to have one as a backup)
1 on camera flash – preferably 2 flashes to allow to a backup if needed
Lenses
Our lenses for each wedding are: Canon L-Series Prime Lenses – 35mm 1.4 (Go To), 85mm 1.4, 24-70, 70-200 and a macro lens. For weddings we use two cameras all day and use the 35mm all day while switching between the other lenses as needed on our second camera.
Long range lens – zoom or prime (70-200mm, 85mm, 135mm or equivalent)
General/Portrait range lens – zoom or prime (24-70mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm or equivalent)
35mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.4 stay on the bodies for much of our work
Macro lens is preferred for detail shots but not required
